How much
media can I upload for free?
For free accounts there is a limit of 1 Megabyte per attachment.
Considering that each text page can have an image, and multiple
movie files, and multiple audio files, we don’t think that
the per attachment limit will be a limitation for anybody. You probably
don’t want to have an image on your page that is 1 Megabyte
in size anyway, because people who view your NanoLearning are going
to have to download it to view it. top |
Is my
NanoLearning ever deleted?
NanoLearning you create will exist in the system forever. top |
How do
ratings and feedback work?
After a registered user has logged in, reviewed your NanoLearning,
and made it to the very last page they will be asked for some simple
information. They are asked if they would recommend this NanoLearning
to a close personal friend (yes or no), and they are given the opportunity
to type comments if they wish. The number of yes vs. no answers
create the percentage of people who recommend it, and the comments
are also published on the NanoLearning’s main page for people
(and the author) to review. top |
Can ratings
be gamed?
In order to leave feedback on NanoLearning the reviewer has to be
logged in as a valid user. Even though users don’t have to
be logged in to view NanoLearning, they must be logged in to leave
feedback. It is possible that someone could create multiple free
accounts and leave similar feedback. We strive to spot such trends
and fix them whenever possible top |
How can
I tell when someone leaves feedback on my NanoLearning?
We support RSS, so as the author of a NanoLearning you can subscribe
to that feed in your favorite feed reader and you will be notified
whenever new feedback is left. top |
How do
I create a NanoLearning?
From the main welcome page, just press the button for adding new
NanoLearning. The first thing you will be asked is to give us some
information about the NanoLearning you are about to create. Don’t
worry if it’s not perfect or complete, you can change it at
any time. top |
Why
is the information about my NanoLearning important?
People will review this information before they decide they are
going to view the NanoLearning you created. This will also be the
information that gets searched. So it is in your best interest to
be thorough and descriptive. In addition to the information that
you provide, people will also see the recommendations and feedback
that have been left. top |
How
do I work with templates?
Every page has a type, specifically a template type. We have created
a certain set of templates to start with, including templates that
show flash movies, display text and images, multiple choice tests,
and interactive Flash activities. Templates are very powerful in
that you can create and configure a very rich, interactive Flash-based
learning activity by just following the instructions and typing
some text, and selecting some options. top |
How

From the “Actions” menu you can edit the media for each
page. Each page, no matter which skin or template you choose, allows
multiple audio files and multiple video files. top |

marked as the voiceover for the page. The voiceover will start playing
when the page is first shown, or if the restart button is pressed
on the page. top |
What

have shared your NanoLearning with the world, you can still update
it and change it whenever you wish, and your changes will be live
as soon as you save them. We anticipate that people will want to
